At SYDNEY MATH, we empower students to see their entire world through a mathematical mindset. This way, their SPATIAL REASONING leaps forward in the most natural way.We explore disciplinary boundaries and confront conventional ways of thinking.Due to their highly developed NUMBER SENSE, our students, who are aged 4 to 12 years, develop swift and accurate recall of their number facts. They experience hilarious fun while learning, especially their times tables. Our philosophy is that THE JOY OF LEARNING MATHEMATICS sets children up for life. What is SYDNEY MATH?
SYDNEY MATH is new. Sydney Math is a RESEARCH AND COACHING CLINIC.
There is nothing like it in Australia.
Its principal, Sasha Alexandre, is an honours graduate of Sydney University, and is excited to offer the fruits of her research to South-West Sydney.
What is Sasha's background?
Seven years of teaching small groups, picking the eyes out of, and testing, world-wide research into elementary math and educational neuroscience, inventing family-friendly math tools, designing new ways to learn, and preparing her book, MY BIG FAT WORKING MEMORY (to be published in 2024), and inspiring children and families to adore mathematics.
What motivates Sasha?
Many years ago, Sasha realized she was producing highly successful and passionate mathematicians. More recently, she is intrigued by the question of why some OECD countries have high PISA scores, and why Australia is still lagging behind places such as Finland, Canada, Estonia, Singapore, Shanghai and Taiwan.
What is Sasha's boast?
Sasha and her team are Elementary Mathematics specialists. A strong foundation is everything. We will develop your child's NUMBER SENSE, SPATIAL REASONING, MENTAL COMPUTATION, AUTOMATIC RECALL OF NUMBER FACTS and most of all, their PASSION FOR MATHEMATICS.

SYDNEY MATH is not a hothouse. We do not believe in making kids swat. That's cruel. Our secret is to help kids live and breathe the world in a mathematical way. Then, math becomes like music. Your child will 'wanna dance'.
